Plain answers to the fault codes and alerts we see most often on solar systems, with what our own monitoring and service records show.
- Tigo CCA status light red or yellow: what it means and what to do
The light on a Tigo Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) shows the status of your monitoring and rapid shutdown system. Steady green means everything is working. Solid red means the CCA cannot reach your network or Tigo's servers, often because of a changed Wi-Fi password, a firewall or weak signal. Solid yellow means a warning, such as data not uploading or fewer optimizers found than expected. A dark light can mean the system is in rapid shutdown or the CCA has no power.
- Tigo EI app gray panel (no data): what it means and what to do
A gray panel in the Tigo Energy Intelligence (EI) app or portal means Tigo is not receiving monitoring data for that module. Tigo lists common causes as a communication issue, radio interference, a module that has not been discovered yet, or a recently replaced Tigo device that has not been updated in the portal. A gray panel shows missing data, not necessarily missing power: Tigo optimizers let the rest of the string keep producing even if one unit fails.

Tigo EI inverter error code 203 "PV Isolation Low" means the inverter has detected a low resistance to ground, pointing to an issue with the DC wiring or a panel. It is often called an isolation resistance or R-Iso error. Tigo states that troubleshooting must only be done by qualified personnel, so keep clear of the system and book a technician.
- Tigo EI inverter error 200 AFCI fault: what it means and what to do
Tigo EI inverter error code 200 "AFCI Fault" means the inverter has detected an arc fault in the solar (PV) wiring. Tigo says the inverter shows a continuous red fault light with a loud buzzer, and it will not reconnect to the grid until it is reset. The electrical code requires that reset to be done manually on site, so book a technician to find the cause before anyone resets it.
